Overview
The Tripac PVC Take-Back Program is an environmental stewardship initiative by Cabac, designed to support the responsible disposal and recycling of used Tripac PVC conduit and fittings. This program aligns with our commitment to a circular economy by diverting end-of-life materials from landfill and returning them into the value chain through recycling, reuse, and education.
Eligible Materials for Return
The following materials are accepted for collection and recycling:
- Tripac PVC corrugated conduit (used, clean, and uncontaminated)

Material Processing and End Use
Returned PVC materials are sorted and directed into two primary reuse pathways:
- Educational Support: Reusable items in good condition are supplied to registered training organisations such as TAFE and other accredited trade training facilities to support student learning.
- Recycling: Non-reusable PVC is processed by our recycling partners. This includes micronising into powder for reintegration into new PVC extrusion products or other industrial reuse applications.
Our Commitment
Cabac is committed to sustainable practices across the product lifecycle. Through this program, we are supporting the electrical industry’s transition toward a more circular economy by reducing waste and promoting responsible material recovery.
