Product Description

The HNS060MD is a passive infrared (PIR) motion detector for use in conjunction with S-Click 3-wire timers. The PIR sensor provides hands-free switching and prevents lights from timing out while an area is in use.

The HNS060MD is able to detect motion up to two metres away, and will continuously restart the timer as long as movement is detected in this range. When motion is no longer detected, the timer will then turn off the lights after a pre-programmed time has elapsed. This provides effective power savings without the need to manually reset a timer.

Applications and Compatibility

This motion detector is ideal for bathrooms, storerooms, laundries and other areas that receive no natural light. The HNS060MD prevents lighting from timing out when the area is occupied whilst also ensuring that lights will never be accidently left on when they aren't needed.

The HNS060MD must be used with one of the following S-Click 3-Wire timers:
HNS440TM - 3-Wire Minute Mech Timer
HNS450TM - 3-Wire Hour Mech Timer

Fits in standard HPM and Clipsal face plates - includes matching lenses.
